How Do We Relocate Houses?
Elite House Removals uses specialised hydraulic trailers designed to safely lift, manoeuvre and transport houses, including raising structures up to approximately 3 metres where required. This allows us to navigate tight access points, challenging road conditions and a wide range of site locations.
If sections of the roof need to be temporaily removed to meet height restrictions, protective tarps are installed to prevent weather damage. Once the house is delivered, all unloading, roof re-joining and reinstatement work is completed with precision and care.
House relocations typically occur overnight under police and pilot escort. Arrival at the destination site is usually in the early morning, with owners required to be present at daylight hours to confirm final placement.

As house relocations are classified as wide loads, permits are required through National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, and timeframes may vary depending on approvals. We have access to multiple holding yards if temporary storage is required.
If your house needs to be removed urgently, we can work with you to meet required timeframes where possible.

Yes. Upon request, we can keep your details on file and notify you when a house becomes available that matches your requirements.
Roof upgrades may be required to meet current cyclone rating standards. If this work is not included in your quote, it can be completed for an additional fee, depending on roof size and requirements.
Council inspections are completed once works are finished and a tie down certificate is issued as part of the final approval process.
Who Organises The Foundations?
Elite House Removals can arrange the stumping of your house once it has been positioned on site. Stumping typically takes approximately 3-5 days to complete. However weather and unforeseen events can delay this time.
